A Very Lilly Wedding
September 4, 2019
If there was one thing Lilly Pulitzer loved, it was a good celebration. All were welcome at her eclectic, jungle-like home in Palm Beach, Florida. Lilly believed that all of life's moments should be celebrated with good company (and champagne, of course)!
Palm Place celebrated a very special occasion this summer: Rachel and Billy's wedding! Rachel has been part of our Palm Place family for five years. When she's not sporting her Lilly at Palm, you can find her teaching biology at Neptune High School or hip-hop at the Spring Lake School of Dance.
Rachel is a true Lilly lover and her wedding was no exception! She incorporated touches of Lilly throughout the festivities, beginning with her bridal shower at the Avon Marina. Rachel's mom lead a "name that Lilly print" game featuring Rachel's favorite prints. Guests could also take photos with a printed photo booth frame or even take the Lilly jeep for a spin!
Next up was her bachelorette party, a spa day at the Red Bank Atlantic Club! Rachel and her bridesmaids enjoyed massages and facials in their Lilly-inspired tee shirts. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind before...
THE BIG DAY! What better place to celebrate than in Lilly's home state of Florida? Rachel and Billy shared their "I dos" in the Disney Wedding Pavilion at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Rachel looked stunning in a lace, mermaid-style gown with a strapless, sweetheart neckline. Her bridesmaids rocked our Zadie Maxi Dress. The Zadie's fluttery silhouette flattered the bridesmaids' range of body types, splashing the aisle with pink and green in true Lilly fashion.
But the festivities didn't end at the aisle. The party continued at the Atlantic Dance Hall, where Ted showed off his best moves on the dance floor. The last stop of the night was watching the Illuminations firework show at Epcot. Rachel and Billy's celebration was truly magical, one that Lilly would have loved.
